Style

something to say.

Life is full of different things to do, see and wear. This is a blog about clothes I love, places I've been, and people I know. These are my feelings, and my inspiration. Maybe they're yours too.

Take a moment to read on this reflective poem about the effects of love in this planet.
Poem - Love Much by Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Love Much. Earth has enough bitter in it ;
cast sweets into its cup whenever you can.
Not heart so hard , but love at last may win it ;
Love is the grand primeval cause of man ;
all hate is foreign to the first great plan.

Love Much. Your heart will be led out to slaughter,
on altars built of envy and deceit.
Love on ! Love on! 'tis bread upon the water ;
It shall be cast in loaves yet at your feet,
Unleavened manna , most divinely sweet.

Love much. Your faith will be dethroned and shaken ,
your trust betrayed by many a fair , false lure.
Remount your faith , and let new trusts awaken.
Though clouds obscure them , yet the stars are pure ;
Love is a vital force and must endure.

Love Much. Men's soul contract with cold suspicion ,
Shine on them with warm love , and they expand.
'Tis love , not creeds , that from a low condition
Lead mankind up to hights supreme and grand.
Oh , that the world could see and understand!

the op shop lot.

most of the time, we look to common shops for our attire. but op shops hold something else. nothing there is mass produced , i mean it has been, but there's only one in a store.
you'll find bits and pieces from all the over globe, waiting to be picked and re-used. pre-loved they say, as every piece has a little bit of history, and a little bit of style. create an outfit of this, and you have something effortlessly easy and stylish.

perfect isn't always bony

 a clear example of why the media is exploiting skinny women,
women do not have to be skinny , to be beautiful , gorgeous and confident.
bodies naturally come in different shapes and sizes, so why not accept and embrace that?
why should women constantly feel the need to conform to the impossibly expectations of a made -up society?

don't get me wrong, some people are naturally skinny, but why has that people the socially accepted perfect and norm?
take a look at other 'real' women...
